Wonka Bar & Golden Ticket

For the Wonka Godkid Adventure, I made Golden Tickets for the invitations. I took store-bought Wonka bars and removed the purple plastic wrapper. Then I wrapped the golden ticket around the chocolate. (I found the ticket paper at Staples. It says it can go through an inkjet printer, but it kept jamming in mine, so I hand wrote them.) Then I wrapped the entire chocolate bar in heavy duty aluminum foil. Last, I wrapped the foiled-bar with the wrapper that I created in Publisher using a Wonka font I found online. I used a glue stick to seal the wrapper.

Everlasting Gobstopper Sponge Balls

These sponge balls were on Pinterest and they reminded me of the Everlasting Gobstoppers, so I knew I had to make them for the Chocolate Factory Adventure.

Candy Garland

Today, I made “candy” garland to decorate for the annual Godkid Adventure. This year’s theme is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Even though the movie and book are ALL about candy, I don’t want the adventure to be 100% candy. So the candy garland is actually made from bouncing balls. Stay tuned for more crafts relating to the adventure.
