Monkey Business

For Christmas, I made monkeys for my Godchildren using the Molly the Monkey pattern from mmmcrafts. Let me introduce Pete the Pirate, Moxie the chic Monkey, Princess Piala, and the fairy Faye. I’m really impressed with how well they turned out.

Wee Folk

Ever since I discovered Wee Folk, I’ve wanted to make some. I checked out the Felt Wee Folk book from the library and bought the supplies. Tonight I started making my first wee faerie. All that’s left is a face (I need to get some paint markers) and her hair and hat.

Faerie Quilt

The faerie quilt is finished. So girlie and so cute. I hope my friend’s baby loves it!

Ashley pieced the other quilt for another pregnant friend and is mailing it to me so that I can quilt it. I love all these new babies!

Fairy Quilt Blocks

My latest sewing project. Sometimes it’s fun to make super girly quilts. I love the crazy quilt style of the blocks… it’s super easy to make. I have three blocks completed and at least four in progress. I need twelve total for the pattern I’m doing. While I cut and sewed, I listened to Oscar Wilde’s The Portrait of Dorian Grey which counts for the book challenge I’m doing.
